"I would have no hesitation in recommending the coach training provided by APP. The course was delivered at weekends and evenings which made it possible to do the training around full time work and other commitments. I found the extensive practical experience crucial learning which, really helped to build my confidence. The mentor support was also very useful and the course gave me a clear process to follow as well as some useful tools to use in my coaching.  I have now set up my own coaching practice which, has enabled me to make a real difference to people lives and I am loving it!"

Sarah Howard, Howard Coaching

How Team Coaching can make a real difference

"I head up a building maintenance organisation and have utilised the APP Performance Coach on a number of occasions and in varying situations.

For example, I have three managers in separate locations undertaking the same role but with different levels of experience.  In this situation the coach facilitated a number of meetings with them to develop a single business focus that they could all share and accept. Whilst working to a brief from myself the process was owned very much by the coach and the managers. Through the work there was a significant improvement in their interaction following the sessions, the key factor of the coach in this situation was her ability to observe the managers and prompt where appropriate but that they found the answers and solutions themselves.

The use of the coaching approach is a very objective tool, in the manner that the issues are brought out but the solutions are wholly owned by the recipients as they have to find them for themselves.  I believe it to be a powerful and positive business tool particularly in supporting people through difficult situations, in my case through business change, which can often be a very threatening experience."

Iain Grice, Building Services Manager

"It is my personal opinion that executive coaching is more important now than ever. As businesses face the challenges of restructuring to match costs with falling turnover the opportunity to look at oneself so as to keep the medium and long term plans still in play should be considered very seriously.

Setting clear personal and business goals requires regularised dedicated time. Coaching is certainly not the only way to do this but, in my view, is a really good way of delivering this function relatively quickly and painlessly and therefore, in turn, releasing further clear time to focus on trading successfully."

"This course has opened doors for me and I would recommend it to anyone."
